Traineeships Certificate III In Property Services (Agency) Certificate IV In Property Services (Real Estate) Secure an employer first then come to the College and complete your training, or come to the College and discuss with Marilyn or Greg on how to secure an employer. You can start your traineeship at any time of the year with our rolling intake. A probationary period of 6 weeks applies to a traineeship and within this probationary period either party can terminate the traineeship without obligation. The term of traineeships is 12 months with the option of an early sign off after 6 months, provided all training modules and assessments have been completed. The employer must then advise us that the trainee is deemed competent in the industry. The training is a combination of formal off-the-job classes through the Real Estate Training College and practical on-the-job workplace-based skills training. The training assessment is based on written assessments, role plays, questions and practical demonstration of competency. You will complete a training plan at induction that will be flexible and complement your work situation. The cost of the Certificate III in Property Services (Agency) traineeship is $850. The cost of the Certificate IV in Property Services (Real Estate) traineeship is $1,500. The starting dates for 2010 are:
