After a university degree and more than 10 years of working in Allied Health, I felt that I needed a career change. I had always had an interest in real estate, but thought that because I had a young family and lived in a rural area, going to Adelaide to study again would be impossible. I initially started studying with another agency by distance education, which had a course duration of 18 months. But, thankfully I discovered the Real Estate Training College and with the extreme flexibility of the course, Greg and Marilyn's enthusiasm and not to mention the added incentive of being able to utilise the Parent's Return to Work Scheme, I found that it was indeed possible to have a new career in real estate. I have always been motivated and goal orientated, but my journey with the Real Estate Training College has taken me to a new level. The lecturers were dynamic. Deciding to open my own real estate office was a major decision, then having to complete my Diploma of Property was really daunting. Comparing the different styles, and after recommendations from past students, I decided to enroll with the Real Estate Training College. This was to become the best decision I could have made. The whole process was simplified and almost stress free knowing both Greg and Marilyn were always available either by phone, in person or by email to answer any questions or explain the expectations. They were always very friendly and never made me feel they were too busy to help. I first approached the Real Estate Training College as a person considering a career change. Greg and Marilyn’s willingness to provide quality information and advice helped me make the final decision to actually take the plunge into property! The training provided is exceptional and it is delivered in a way that allows the student to understand and then implement the knowledge into their plan of attack. This is not one of those courses where info gets fed in one ear, and goes out the other. The content is all relevant and can all be used to get your career rocketing off of the ground from day one! What a change to my life your college has made. Greg, from the very beginning you have not only taught me the material required to obtain my Certificate IV, but "empowered" me with the industry knowledge needed to succeed as a real estate agent in today's market place. I have never known trainers to give so much of themselves when delivering their material to a class. The lessons of John Cook and Brett Roenfeldt have enabled me to step out of the college and straight into a sales role with confidence and a clear and defined action plan for the next three, six and twelve months. Putting myself through the Real Estate Training College for my Certificate IV in Property, was the best business decision I have made in years. After 7 weeks of qualified and appropriate training, I received my Certificate and immediately started work.Just 8 weeks later I have 5 listings, am conducting 3 appraisals a week and have sold 3 homes for other consultants within the company. Being taught by the great lecturers in Brett Roenfeldt and co. gave me a great insight into the industry and prepared me for my career as a Real Estate Property Consultant. Without a doubt walking into the college to discuss a career in Real Estate with Marilyn was one of the best decisions of my life. Relevant valuable advice was given to me at that first meeting and continued throughout the course. From the first session Greg reassured me that the course was going to be a comfortable challenge, which it was. Dear Greg and Marilyn, The course was a wonderful experience in the sense of how close the class became by the end of the course. It was more of an adventure that we were all experiencing together but after the 6 weeks, we were very sad to be leaving each other and the "school room" but ecstatic that we were finally on our journey to success. The tutors were all exceptional, both professionally and humanly, knowing exactly how to extract the best out of the best. They made learning fun at all times! They were truly inspirational to me and easy to listen to [had to listen a bit harder to Justin and had to turn the volume down a bit with Brett].
